Also would anyone be interested in getting together for a bbq and get to know other lightning owners. It would be cool if we could get a large group together. I wish someone would organize a KY Lightning Fest

 

I was in a similar situation here in Central Illinois, so I contacted SVT about starting a local chapter of SVTOA (SVT Owners Association). Ford pays a market ing company based out of Dearborn and San Diego to organize SVTOA on a national level (same firm that organized Harley Owners Group / H.O.G.) and give you tools to start a local chapter, they even provide names of all the registered SVT owners in a 50 mile radius. Four guys started a chapter 2 years ago and we currenly have 80+ members. We have picnics, holiday party, dyno days, caravan's to SVTOA on-tracks and semi-local test & tunes, etc.

This is a great way to meet Ford Enthusiasts in your area!

thanks danimal if i can get enough support i would really like to start a local chapter.

 

hellrot from nloc.net advised automotion in would hold a dyno day if we could get 6-8 trucks. it would be 50.00 for three runs
