How many of you guys have ever heard of The Tail Of The Dragon in the Tennessee mountains?

Been there done that. Took the L down last year, year before that I rode my motorcycle there. It's unbelievable, by the time you get to the end your tired. Also scary, there's no guard rails most of the way. I love it.

There is/was a yearly Buell Club ride there....Lots of road rash....For a warm up try old 421 between Boone and Bristol...

The SCMC runs down there every year I think.
A lot of my froends have been, but unless they closed the road
and made it a timed event, I don't think I wanna do it.

My life almosted ended there in 2000.

But... it's a fun ride on a bike. It's those trees you gotta watch out for!

I have heard of it, many of my friends wrecked their cars and motorcycles there. So I never go with them.
