thats a little on the low side IMO...the lowest stock number I have seen for a dyno run (99-00) was 340...as compared to the rated 360 Ford claims...maybe a tuner will chime in

that does seem low... but my guess would be because if you put a 90mm or 95mm mass air or whatever, its too big.... maybe thats causing problems.... i would think to upgrade to a new mass air you would need a tune for that......

otherwise, maybe try another dyno

Actually Ford was 360hp at the flywheel so even with a conservative 10% drivetrain loss he would be down around 324rwhp. Not to far off his 315rwhp.

the hp could be right, i would have figured more though, at least through what ive seen, the tq, that should be at least 390-400.

I dynoed mine before any mods... dead stock was 325/426 and that was with the A/F off the charts rich, dipping down into the high nines if memory serves me correctly. I know that the 99's and 00's were pig rich from the factory... there's a lot to be found with a MAF swap and proper tune. I'm supposed to dyno my truck with the present mods around the end of this month... I'm anxious to see the improvement. My point is that those numbers don't seem abnormally low for a stock truck and if you don't have a tune to match the MAF, that could be causing major problems. How was your A/F?

TQ seems low. IIRC, mine was 327rwhp and 417rwtq(?). I know the HP number is dead on, but I'm not 100% sure my TQ number is correct.

So you can figure your HP numbers to be about right, theoretically should be about 10 higher, but like i said before your tq numbers are way off, look at iceman's 426 tq! so my best guess is that ur engine is screwed up or the dyno u took it too is messed up... probably something with the dyno.

Mind made 318 hp stock so your hp number is not that far off.

At what rpm did they start the dyno pull at? At what rpm does it show peak TQ?

If they started the pull too late in the rev band in 3rd gear, then it will show a lower peak TQ #. Peak TQ on these trucks is usually ~3200-3400rpm.
