I need a functional hood soon!

Ok heres the deal. Got into an accident 2 months ago and my truk is still in the shop. I've been waiting for a shaker hood for 2 months and they are still on backorder, I cant find one anywhere and dont want to wait anymore. These past two months without my truck has been hell. My truck is fully ready for me to take it home, all i need is a hood.

So pretty much I am looking for a fully functional hood that looks awesome and is relatively light. I need some help. Anybody with any info please post all the functional hoods you know. Thanks.

You know that hood actually looks like it would be pretty cool. Like to see it painted on a truck though for the real effect. The underside of the hood looks closed off. Does that piece come off so the hood can vent so you have that to vent or not to vent option?

Hey Willie,

Here is the link for the website that 20SVT had mentioned. I agree that the ss150 hood looks sharp.

i know you see this one man! that was the original hood i wanted from abcexclusive. it has that adapter hook up, it is just like the cobra cowl that you and i want and now you have!! BTW, how's it look dog? anyway, that is what i was talking about on another thread about an adapter. just could not remember the site, but i think i might go with that one now vice the one from that other site. good luck dog on the hooking it up. be careful! I love my hood, It has a slight cowl in the back and a little ram air set up. Enjoy...
