SRT-10 Quad Cab performance data
So you can win those meaningless bench racing sessions...
SRT-10 Quad Cab
1/4 mile: 15.29 sec at 92.06 mph

yea those number seem off, they seem more like the 5.7 Hemi numbers rather than the srt-10, with 500 hp im sure it will run close to us, so 14's for sure.

Why worry abought the silly dodge? 2 extra cylinders and bigger displacement dose not make it better. The lightning is heads down a better performing truck, life dose not allways = 0 to 60 mph or how fast you can go in a quatermile, a stock 5.7 hemi will out performe a stock 5.4 3v, I don't beleave the Ram is better, but hands down I would take a lightning over a SRT10, I whish ford had supercharged the 04 5.4,
I've said it once I'll say it again
I am NOT a pick up truck kind-of-guy,
and I DO NOT think of the Lightning as a Pick Up Truck
Now this is a Truck

Personally I think the SRT-10 is a better truck than the lightning. However you definitely pay for the LITTLE advantage it has.
The interior is far superior.
The engine is bada$$... (c'mon people an aluminum v-10 making 500 from the factory, those who aren't impressed are lying)
Not to crazy about the styling or the size and weight of it, or the clutch.
Plus they are still produced.
One caveat though:
I remember everyone complaiing that the lightning was mass produced and lost the "exclusivity" of a limited production SVT truck. Well 5 years after they quit making it, people immediately complained. But we were calmed down because we knew the Gen 3 was on the horizon. Then Ford Axed that project (thanks bean counters).
Ford is damned if they do (produce too many Lightnings, not rare)
And
Ford is damned if they don't (quit making them and not make a gen 3)
But if I had to choose I'd still choose the lightning. A truck in the driveway and money in the bank is worth more to me than a more exclusive truck in the driveway and less money in the bank.
