My impression of Magnaflow muffler-

Just installed the Magnaflow, 2 in and 2 out, 2 1/2" muffler. Not real pleased, I have to say. Absolutely dead quiet at idle and low rpm, same as stock. Better sound at mid and WOT. If you're looking for more rumble at lower speeds/rpm's, look elsewhere.

I like the tone, how deep the sound is. But there just isn't much volume there. I guess it's a function of two pipes into 1 muffler.

I had no problem with the single muffler Magnaflow system. Now that I put on Longtubes and hi-flow cats, I hate it. It`s a deeper sound, but theres a flutter with it. Will change to a dual muffler system next, Bassani or Magnaflow.

I may just go with a set of Random Tech converters and see if that helps. Planned on doing this anyway - they're absolutely the best converters out there, but pricey.

Yeah, sorry. I've used Random Tech cats on two very high hp, supercharged cars in the past. Very, very nice. But they're upwards of $150 each. Worth every penny, though.

**** over on NLOC. Bought the midpipes along with the catback. Approximately $325 I think plus abut 50 shipping (BIG box). He was running a special at the time.
