Cleaned Intercooler today

Painted the plenum and blower while I was at it. Looks good and hopefully my Razors Edge oil catch will arrive soon so I don't have to clean the damn intercooler again .

I just cleaned mine when I put on my KB... It was nasty, it looked like a black tar river coming out....

I used 9 cans of Brake clean to clean mine...

About an hour to remove plenum, blower, and intercooler. Clean throttle body, plenum, and blower with 2 cans of carb cleaner and then I cleaned the intercooler in a parts cleaner/bin.

I would doubt that you would see any additional boost fro cleaning. You will make the cooling of the aircharge more efficient.
