#6 to #4 done. How much richer?

I changed from the 6# to the 4# yesterday morning.

It performs good, and I notice that the A/F meter is showing 1 more LED deeper into Rich than with the 6#.

Keep in mind that it has a 6# tune.

Anyone know about how much richer it would be now.

Also there was no bogging or any kind of problems what-so-ever with the change.

It runs great with the 6# or 4# and the 6# tune on it.

The meter is dead center now between the beginning and end of the 'RICH' section. Before it was one LED leaner.

I am going to go read about the meter now and see how much every LED is worth. Even a close guess is appreciated.

I think it would be safer to keep it on the 6psi tune. Yes, it will have slightly less power this way but having a little more fuel than it needs it definately not a bad thing. Just my .02.

hmm

i think your tune should be based off of engine load so there shouldn't be much of a difference.

What he said,. In my experiance dropping 2 pounds of boost with the same tune made less then 0.2 differance in the a/f. Going the other way for eample 2 pounds more boost on say a 4 pound tune made it over 0.5 points a/f leaner.

The above is just my observation on my truck

Do you have the autometer A/F gauge. I have that gauge and my A/F is rich and the LEDs are about in the middle of Stoich??

Yes the A/F gauge is Autometer.

Mine stays only 2 or 3 Leds from the end when I am on the gas.. the GREEN LEDs and I am around the middle of the Green ones on indication.

OK ... you did disconnect the battery, right? Then the
only table on a "toon" that would make a difference is
the WOT fuel table. All the other A/F adjustments can
be made real time, right?

That's just the way I understood it ...
