What RPMs does your Lightnings shift at?

With the stock block the tuning shifted the truck at 5400 rpms. With the new built motor it is set up for 5800-5900 rpms depending on street or race tune and which gear.

Yea, sorry, i should have been a bit more clear, it was late at night, Ive got her chiped so it shifts a bit into the red.

(based on my truck) with that 4# lower you'll wanna have the computer shift it at 5400-5500. The 6# guys I'd think ought to be a little lower. Down around 5200.

its all a matter of where your power band is. take a look at your dyno graph(if you have one) and you'll see where the power starts to fall off. the ideal is to keep the motor in the desired powerband. your truck will be different from the next depending on mods and such. then factor in where the rpm's are At at the finish line then adjust shiftpoints accordingly til to optimise the powerband. if your truck is street driving keep it below 5400 shift points.
