Front brake pads?

I am going to attempt installing new brake pads later tonight. I have some instructions on how to do it and im wondering if anyone has any helpfull tips to make this easyer?

its not very hard dude, I did it in my college parking lot with a few tools, im sure you will do fine if u just have the right tools. That site above seems to be very helpful, goodluck!

I went ahead and painted my callipers whil i had them off.

Did you have your rotors turned? Should be done with every pad change.

i think matt only turned his when he messed up the rotors from the ceramic pads

oh yeah, he toasted a front set of stock rotors. The most extreme case i have read about on f150 is someone toasting 3 sets of rotors from ceramic pads, and one of the sets was powerslots. I don't remember who the poster was, but i'm sure it would turn up in a search.

I'll second that. I just went back to the stock pads after having to have my rotors turned twice in less than a year. Sure, there's no dusting but you will sacrifice your rotors for it.
