Some race engines need very little break-in.

It is best to check with your engine builder as only he knows what is done to your motor!

I am getting a new JDM Long block motor and it will not see any street miles before it's first race in Orlando.

Jim will Dyno it and it will be pretty much ready to roll... I will probably make a couple of easy runs during time trials and then right to qualifying!

Of course, I will only be running about 600 RWHP instead of a possible 650.

Is this another motor or the same one that was given to you?

I am referring to my new engine. I just got it home, it will see no street miles until my first race. It has only dyno time on the motor right now.
I will run my street program ( set for 93 Octane ) and low boost (dyno'd at 600 rwhp) for the first few shake down runs and then try out the race programs!
