Ive raced two and beat them both but they both caught up at top end speeds.
Those cars get horrible starts though. Dont expect to totaly whoop its @$$ if you race one from a roll.

I'm not an math whiz but we can tow an SRT-4.

From a dig, L wins. From a roll, SRT is right there with us.

I raced one with a larger front mount, increased boost and exhaust from the turbo-back, and he and I were dead even. I asked him what he runs, and he has gone 12.90 @ 106.

Here is a link for the video of when I raced an SRT-4 with a GTS-61 turbo upgrade.

My truck has the Apten, 6lb lower, JLP Tune, CAI, Exhaust.

Just for reference, I let off at the top of 3rd @ 5400rpm.

It kinda looked like he was barely creeping up on you in the latter half of that race. On the low end, you blew him away out of the hole.

What does your truck run?

It was funny because I was trying to leave the line without spinning the tires, so I left at ~30% Throttle and the trans shifted into 2nd quickly. I then went 100% and the trans shifted back into 1st, hence the sudden jump.

If memory serves correctly, the SRT was running ~24psi of boost.

I've never ran my truck in the 1/4, so I'm not sure what it would run.

Put a car length on him at the beginning and held it all the way.

Nice vid Viper.....way to put it on the SRT......

I also like the comment (later in the post) that you let off as he was fixing to pass you.....at what speed did he want to quit racing...140?

You had him all of the way.......nice

A guy at my work has an SRT with a two stage turbo and a bunch of other goodies.....he says that b!tch it super quick and wants some of me......ahhhh ...no thanks...

The really modded up ones will run 11s. Just like our trucks, at some point durability comes into question. A stocker runs mid-13s, I believe.

I have never seen a stocker SRT-4 do better than 14.2

If the diver knows what he's doing then a 13.8-13.9 is possible, but most times that i've seen are in the 14.0-14.2 range.

Since I wrecked my lightning in october due to wet road traction loss, I bouhgt my friends 2004 srt-4. It definatly doens't had the power when you want it (5speed+turbo lag) but it does get better mileage. Doesn't sound near as good as my old maggy catback either /tear.

I'm planning on getting it into 12's to match what my truck was capable of this summer at least.

its a 22k car not a 33k Uber-truck
