Yeah, so it got nasty today

A little less than 1/2 inch of ice and sleet. Roads were skating rinks. I was able to get going better than most people. 2nd gear starts are nice to have. Although a UPS truck came flying up behind me at a stoplight, and had to switch lanes and slide through a red to avoid me. Good times. Hope everyone else is getting home safe if you are in the weather.

Having a Daily rocks! The Lightning hangs out in the garage when the bad weather hits.. actually most of the week because I work in a semi-bad area. Great company just not the best location. It is an '04 I bought in Feb. and it only has 6k on it.

I have a beater. But the battery was tired and didn't want to get out of bed this morning. So I took Ethyl to work. My beater finally decided to wake up after I got home today. Now she is all ready to go in the mornin.

Sound like UPS has a driver waiting to cause a lawsuit. They should be the last ones driving like that. You would think UPS would put some mean snow tires on those trucks.

Snowed twice here today - about 3 inches this morning - about another 2 inches this afternoon - now snowing again. Thank goodness I have my faithful 1994 Ranger with 4wd to plow through it all ok and the "garage queen" can RIP until it it all melts off.

I am in the Dallas area and right now it is 23 degrees outside . I thought you fellows in OK where suppose to keep the cold air from getting past you.

Thank goodness it is dry outside. I plan to take the Lightning to work this morning. With the air this cold, I will be driving a 10 second truck on the street...LOL.

Rocks

Yeah, sorry about the cold. It was 70 degrees last sunday about noon. At 12:30 it was in the low 50's, and by 5:30 it was low 40's. I was playing paintball and they hurt after they get cold.
