Track and dyno numbers

How do thise look?

Went to track and got some numbers with the new monster box and predator tune...

Existing mods: Kooks Longtubes, highflow cats and magnaflow dual mufflers, 4lb lower, accufab TB, JDM CAI, 90mm M/A, E-fan, Rancho Traction Bars, 26" M/T ET streets

I spun just a little (not enough to have to let out) on every run except the last one where I feathered into the gas a little.

Conditions couldn't have been better, nice weather and about 40F and getting colder with each run.

-------Run1---Run2---Run3---Run4
R/T----.194-- -.007---.187---.177
60'----1.855--1.832--1.862--1.790
1/8----8.211--8.206--8.263--8.220
MPH---83.73--83.36--83.36--82.77

Went to the Dyno and pulled:

At around 70F outside temp.

419 RWHP w/ 509 ftlbs and an extremely flat A/F of 12.4-12.3
(the other two runs were within 3 HP and 3 ftlbs of each other, and all runs were made back to back within 10-15 minutes in between)

I'm thinking those are good dyno numbers for the mods but it looks like my trap speeds are a little low for the horsepower and are actually lower than what I have typically run with fewer mods in the same temps.

I have been used to seeing at least 84 MPH and 85-86 mph on a good day with the "existing mods" before the monster box and the new tune.

When I first got my truck I used to see constistant 83MPH runs with just a #4 pulley, CAI, and a chip, (dynoed at 386hp/475ftlbs) the same trap speeds I just ran this day.

The new tune maxes out a 16 degs of timing. The old tune was a JDM flip chip which used to detonate quite a bit before I got the headers on.

Looks right to me.

Remember, most people only post their best all-time record ET, and most are done on cold dry days.

I see you are in TX so we have similar conditions. I ran on a hot muggy 80 degree night. I have a 6lb lower and Apten port, and my eithth is 8.291, MPH was 85.31.

Your 60ft times should put you in the 12.70-ish range. I think your truck is running on the money.

Your times look pretty good!
I had a best of 12.76@108.8, 1.877 60ft, 8.20 @86.06 in 40 deg air. My dyno numbers were 387/487 in 90 deg/high humidity summer air.
Wish I could get your 4th run 60ft time!!
Bryan

Bryan, what are you mods?

I changed my wording a little, I addition to comparing with what others are getting, I was also comparing with my own truck and the times and speeds I have run with fewer mods.

Everything looks normal except for the trap speeds. I'd sure think they ought to be around 84 and even higher in the cold?

Maybe it's the track equipment?

Hi Rich.

Remember, down here, the humidity and heat is a killer. I only have an Apten port over him, and my 6lb lower over his 4lb is probably not a MPH advantage. My MPH was about 2 MPH over his (I believe the Apten port made this difference), so I think his truck was right on the money for the mods, including his MPH. On a cold night (40's) our trucks should pick up approx 2 MPH.
