Boyd Wheels

If i were to get some 18x9.5 boyd wheels, what is the proper backspacing i'd need? The ones i can purchase have a backspacing of 5.25 inches. Would that be ok? I dont want the wheels out past the front fender, and i dont want them too far inside, the stock wheels are 5.8 correct? I will be buying boyd patriots, what are your thoughts on them?

There's pics of the wheel, actually discount tire lists them with a 0 offset, which is the same as the 5.25 so im told by discount tire. They guaranteed the right fit. What do you all think of the wheels.

Those are nice wheels. And you can go anywhere between 5.25 to 6.0 on the backspacing. Trust me, I know this now. I've called a ton of wheel companies and asked them questions about backspacing. You figure the stock L rim are 18x9.5's and have 5.8" of backspacing with a little room left. So, you could even go above 6.0, but I wouldn't recommend it (might rub).

Nice truck. How much is it lowered?

As far as the billet polish your right, they do take some work. But, you should go over the rims with a quality sealant/polish after you clean them with billet polish/wax (something without any wax in it). Klasse and other synthetic polishes/sealants work well. Or you can do the Zoop Seal thing (this stuff is a little pricey though). This saves a bunch of the hassle of constantly cleaning/polishing the wheels.

Hmm, I'm going to take a guess at this one and say either Boyd Timeless 5's (Bitchin Series) or Eagle Alloy wheels.

I think they'll look good w/ the height of my truck, i was going to go 20, but am gonna go with aggressive 18 and try that out.

Go for it your gonna really like them.
She got the Hotchkis TVS, shocks , and camber kit for Christmas. It didn't look right with the 18"s before the drop and I was regretting not going with the 20's but now am happy with the way it turned out
The wheels are Boyds Timeless
