condensation behind headlight

condensation behind headlight

can this be fixed or do i just need to get a new headlight?

Pretty much standard equip. no extra charge
Mine was replaced under warrenty (2months old) IMO unless your up for expermenting, get a new one

How about removing the bulb, turning the headlight face up to drain some of the moisture and then leaving it face down in a warm place for a couple hours while it dries out? They are not sealed units. They can leak where the bulb seats into the headlight. You can actually rinse them out if you want.......

So would that be covered under an extended warranty? I just noticed today when I was cleaning the ice of mine the left one had some of the condensation in it. Thanks for the help

I baked my taillights in the oven for 45 minutes on its lowest setting (mine was 170*) and it got rid of all the condensation and i havent had a problem since.. the plastic didnt warp or discolor.. but use precaution.. i checked every 10 minutes
