non chip reburning mods

hey i got my chip, now what mods can i do without having to have my chip reburned?

It all depends on who did your chip and how aggressive it is. The cheap route is a reburn with a filter, and 4lb pulley
But if you dont want a reburn you could do a throttle body, electric fan, 170 t-stat, intake spacer, JL or PSP intake, FTVB
none of those should warrant a reburn

I don't agree with the FTVB. With the increased line pressure they usually burn in. I think both would be too much. I would think you would need a reburn to back off the line pressure.

I forgot about about that..........i put mine in with a chip that had raised line pressure and i almost wipped out a 03 cobra on the 1-2 shift but i put drag radials on with the same chip and all it does is bark when the spray comes on and a split second on the shifts

the last thing Gregg Evans recommend is INCREASING the line pressure when using his factory tech valve body.


If you want to go faster without reburning the easiest way is.

Electric Fan
Phenolic spacer
CAI
Traction bars
Cat Back with High flow cats.
WEIGHT REDUCTION! (shave a few hundred pounds off it)

well i did cai exhaust chip and lmv... if i dont reburn it do you think e-fan is the best thing to do w/o reburn?
