Predator Results

I just installed my Predator with just the performance tune as I do not have a pulley yet, wow, what a differnce with no fine tuning whatsoever!

I run a g-tech just for tuning pourposes, I have ran it at the track and if it's level, etc it has always been accurate (within tenth or 2)

So I took the truck out with the G-tech.. I have an 04 with 1700 miles on it and I am at 5000 ft in elevation..w/ just a K&N panel filter I netted the following results..

W/O Programmer

Pass 1. 0-60 5.7... 1/4 mile 14.12@103
pass 2. 0-60 5.79.. 1/4 mile 14.07@ 102.97

Installed Programmer, drove the truck for about 30 miles, same outside conditions, 40 degrees, same road..

Pass1. 0-60 5.32... 1/4 mile 13.63@106.80
pass 2. 0-60 5.35...1/4 mile 13.65@ 106.59

So I am pleased with just adding it.. I will get it to the dyno and the track in april/ may, however SOTP and G-tech shows great improvements w/o any tuning..

Thought I would share!

Happy new year!

I agree. I was atounded at the increase in driveability that I got with the Predator. I'm sure the other systems and chips work well also, but if I were to buy another Lightning, it would be the first change I made.

Oh, the horsepower increase was also appreciated.

Did you ever dyno your with just the predator, or do you have a ball park on what it gave you?

To gain 3+ mph I would think it is in the 20-30hp range
