Diablo Predator Tunes

Is there anyone who HASN'T had a problem with the stock tunes in the Predator. I've heard that people have been blowing their engines with the stock Predator tunes and I've heard it A LOT. But I know of a guy close to me who has a stock Predator tune in his 02 L along with an upper and lower pulley swap and he hasn't had any trouble with it after 20,000 miles. I just used a Predator on my dad's diesel and I fell in love with it. I'd like to get one for my truck but am not too sure if I should or not. Any ideas or input? Thanks

The Predator tunes are aggressive, but you can pull timing and add fuel with the Predator which should get you by. Mainly, the advantages are:
1. Adjustability (somewhat)
2. No chip to void warranty
3. You can be emailed tunes.

I was also curious. I just installed my predator last night with just the Diablo sport paerformance tune. I did not change any Parameter. Just installed it per instructions. The more I drive it the more it seems that it is making more power, however Can I go back into the tune and adjust the shift points, a/f, etc. I know I would not want to adjust a/f and what not w/o it strapped to a dyno however what about the other settings? or is that just for the other tunes for the pulles, 90mm maf, etc? I do not have a pulley, just a K&N panel filter. I am also up here in the clouds at 5000 ft..

Thanks !

Being at such a high elevation, you probably are (not) lean. The "Performance" tune is the one for you. You could increase and listen for knock. A good baseline for timing at WOT is 16 degrees.
