just installed my chip and now the car wont start... it will turn and turn and thats it... even when i take out the superchip and just try to run it normally th same thing happens... what am i doing wrong?

 

Iether two things i can think of,1 which lets hope not is that you fried the pcm(did u disconect the battery before installing the chip?then connect it when u were done?)2nd-u might have tripped the vehicle failsafe.Put the key in the passenger door lock and unlock,lock,and unlock again.That will hopefully disable the failsafe.it happened to me when i installed a chip in my f350.same symptoms.Turned over wouldnt start,had me out there for 3 days looking like a fool till my friend came over and showed me the failsafe trick.Good luck ,post back and let me know how u make out.

Pull the chip and see if it starts (Disconect the battery first) If it starts clean the terminals better on the pcm. took me awhile to get mine clean I was afraid of messing up the pcm.

 

Hes having the same problem without the chip as well.

 

ha i just forgot to disconnect and reconnect the battery when i was done... thanks guys
