rear brake clearance measurements

If anyone has the time, or has done it before, I am in need of some measurements on the rear brake calipers. I would do it myself but my truck is across town in a garage.

I want to know the measurements on the length of the top of the caliper to the bottom of the rotor, and whether the caliper is inboard or outboard of the hub face. Use this link to help you understand:

Also, does anyone know the inside diameter of a bogart 15" wheel? thanks guys.

I don't know the about the calpier clearence but the inside diameter is 14-1/2" it looks like...I just measured one out in the dark...lol I have a loose calpier here but no way of knowing how it sits on the rotor.

wjm5806 is correct. I used an inside mic on my 15 inch Bogards
and get 14.4 inches just inboard of the center hub.
My calipers have been ground and the 'brake' backing plate offset .125 toward the axel center line.
From the top of the caliper, what's left of it, to the bottom of the rotor it's 13.74 inches.
My rotor is 13.15 dia. Therefore the top of my caliper is on a 14.3 inch diameter.

The face of the caliper is inboard of the hub about 1 inch.

Go with the Bogards
I never got my set of Diamond wheels to fit.

diamond quoted me $150 per wheel, bogarts are $350.

The guy I spoke with told me they have got them to fit on a couple gen2 Ls.

No 15" rim is going to bolt on without some grinding. It's 7.5" from the axle centerline to the outside of the caliper, that's 15" diameter, and you need the rim shell to be less than that to get a 15" tire on it. If you are having someone make a custom rim, simply tell them you need the entire rear shell to be maximum full bore. Most wheel companies laugh at that request and say it can't be done, but it's the only way it'll fit (with grinding).
