what would the labor cost to have my gernaded engine taken out and swaped with another stock long block?? reason im asking is cause my friend at the ford dealership is gonna do it for me but i wanna give him some $$ for the labor. what would it normally cost? whats a fair price?? anyone had it done what did you pay??any opinion would help thanks

 

I think normal shop charges will be in the $1000-1500 range for an engine R&R.

 

My dealer charged me $1150 to swap the engine and trans. It was a special deal and that just barely covered their cost.
