20 inch Chrome Wheels

Hey,

First I had chrome 99-00 20's on my truck with 295/40/20 Goodyear Ultra's tires, sold them. Then I had chrome 01-02 20's on my truck with 295/45/20 Toyo's, sold them. I now have chrome 18" 01-02 wheels on my truck and thinking about running 20's again. I have a set of tires for the track.

I want chrome wheels because I don't want to polish them. Billet aluminum wheels look nice, to much work to keep them clean.

I have a new sert of 295/40/20 Toyo Proxes ST's to put on the rims.

I'm leaning towards the 01-02 Chrome 20's again. Any new rim styles available to fit our lug pattern? Post pics here please...

thanks, Happy Holidays :santa:

If you want to stick to Lightning wheels, I prefer the 99 rims in looks, but If it were me, I would look a the various aftermarket rims. The idea behind owning a vehicle and customizing it is so it doesn't look like someone elses and wheels is the best way to differentiate yourself. I like the Foose Spanks, but there are others that are just as nice. Check out www.superbuytires.com as they have almost any wheel made.

The Foose Spank 5's are my second choice, I may still get them. But I'm trying to find something in a 5-spoke narrower look chrome plated.

Adrenaline,

They were like brand new when I let Eric buy them. You haven't been driving the L much... Good to hear from you...
I bet your step daughter has really grown, Any other kids yet?

I've been fortunate enough to get in good with the guys from Nitto and Toyo and get free tires.

I'm going to keep the chrome 01-02 18's because they have Nitto DR's on the back and 555's on the front. I run them mainly on the street. I show at NMRA and other events for Toyo and Nitto. If they are both at the same show, I show for Toyo.

Eric didn't do too much driving with them when he had them either... Believe it or not, they have quite a bit of tread still... Do you have a hookup for discounts on Toyo's though?

No other kids - just her... She is still as awesome as ever!

One of these days we will have to hang out at the track again...

Cool...When I get up that way again, I'll let you know. I got a hookup with Toyo and I got a free set for my truck. Sorry, I can't like get my friends tires from them real cheap. You know I would, if I could. I bought a set for my Lexus at a good price from them, not free. I checked the internet and they saved me the price of shipping costs. You can find them on the internet for a little more then what I paid for them from Toyo.

Happy Holidays...:santa:
