Hood Scoops

Hey Guys,
I'm looking in to buying a new hood for my L. I've been looking at cobra-style hood scoops, and my friend also suggested looking at cowl-induction hoods, too. Anyone know the advantages/disadvantages of either or if one is alot better than the other performance wise? And, if so, anyone know a good place to buy them? Thanks

If you're interested in a cowl hood I'd go with the Cervinis 3" cowl.

My votes for a cervinis ram air hood but im a little biased. 99% of the aftermarket hoods are heavy compared to the stock hood.

Correction, 100% of aftermarket hoods are heavier than the stock hood.

What about a carbon fiber hood, is that still heavier than stock?

the only ones on the market (DJM and APC) used a fiberglass frame with carbon fiber skins, and were heavier than stock.
