What's up with that Don? I seem to recall everyone on here pulling for you to get your first 10 not so very long ago...

Like JJ or not (and I happen to call him a friend) you've got to respect a 10.59, regardless of who ran it.

After he split up from JDM, he told someone that the engine that I paid to get built didn't have Manley conecting rods in it. It got me all worked up, and I had to drain my oil and get my motor scoped. Only to find out it did indeed have manley rods it it.

Actually, the air and conditions at Cecil yesterday were ok, nothing special. I have seen much, much better for this time of year. The track was oiled down twice by tranny and engine oil. Both times took about an hour or so to clean up. Just to give a comparison, we were making some more test runs on a friends Mustang. He ran a 10.97 w/ a 1.59 60' two weeks ago. It was 50-60 degree's that day with decent air. He ran yesterday and was running 11.0xx's with 1.58 and 1.59 60' times.

Congrats on your new best JJ. Running mid 10's is an accomplishment no matter how you look at it.

Another 10.xx second Lightning? It won't be long before anything slower than a 9.xx won't be worth taking special note of.

Yeah Riiiiight. Congrats JJ.
