cog pulleys
I had a cog-belt system on my Vortech.I had a street driven Mustang with a stock block running 18lbs of boost 10.20's @134 and the only problem I had at first was I keep throwing the belt and them things are expensive, once I got it lined up never had a problem with it.The problem is in my exprenice is PEOPLE OVER TIGHTNING them and destroy the crank.

School us on why an aftermarket idler that increases belt wrap on the driver's side is a bad thing. I would say the Metco idler is probably the most widely used (including myself), but if it's inherently a bad design I would surely like to know why...might even have to sway to the darkside with an MP idler bracket!
