Thumbs up Magnum Powers Idler Bracket

PSP is pleased to announce that we've now got the Magnum Powers Idler brackets available. This is a replacement for the entire stock blower belt tensioner bracket. You swap your tensioner and exisiting two idler pulleys onto this, and then using a 3rd pulley on the adjustable tensioner, you can preload the belt. In addition to the added preload, it also gives the belt much more wrap, which is perfect for those running small upper pulleys like 2.7s. We'll be doing our own testing on a local truck, but Charles at MP has already seen big performance from it. On his own truck, he went from 14 psi to 17 psi just adding this new piece!

The brackets are $259 and we can supply you with the extra pulley if you need it.

I take it that this unit will work with ANY blower?

Eaton, MP, KB?

The MP cross brace will work with any of the blowers, Eaton, MP and the KB. It will also work with the stock idler pulleys as well as the aftermarket ones.

I'd like to see an actual test done showing that these things work!! Looks like a wonderful piece, but I would like to see a before and after dyno and boost graph!!!

And Sal is just the man to prove it to us!!!! Hook us up Sally!!

Mine hasn't arrived yet so I'm gonna take a guess here. Looks to me that the idler pulley mounting hub moves up and down.

Thanks Suavy for posting the pic! The adjustable stud inserts from the back into a slot that is machined in the aluminum casting and is locked in place by the washer and nut you can see in the picture Suavy posted. The pulley mounts on the adjustable stud just like the other pulleys mount on the bracket. If the upper idler is adjusted close up under the blower pulley belt wrap is increased by 45 to 50 degrees. I'll send Suavy a picture of the MP Pulley Bracket mounted in the L so you can see the results.

With this extra tension around the pullies, would this shorten the belt life?
