Jdm Wants 5-20 Motorcraft First 3000 Miles In Thier Long Block Engine

Question Jdm Wants 5-20 Motorcraft First 3000 Miles In Thier Long Block Engine

JDM wants 5-20 motorcraft first 3000 miles in thier JDM engine and after that mobil 1 i have notice that there are several different mobil 1"S i don't guess it makes any difference as long as it is mobil one and what about weight 0-30 5-30 10-30??? etc with JDM"S engine what weight are you running and how many miles on it before you WOT ???? thanks

Tlfwatch,

On my jdm engine, per Jim I went about 1,000 miles of break-in. No sustained boost, and a good variety of driving.

During that time as you mentioned, I used the motorcraft 5w-20.

After about 3,000 miles, I switched per Jims recommendation to Mobil 1 0w-20.

I always switch the filter every time also, FL-820s.

Thanks for you reply since JDM is building me a JDM long block engine i wanted to do things right my stock lightning engine had [4] four thousand miles on it when it broke a rod.
