Going to the track tommorow Need all advice

Hey everyone I plan on going to acto tommorow. I have oly run my truck 1 time at the track and went 13.50 & 2.2 60ft with 3/4 of a tank of gas. and I ran on F-1s at 32psi of air in the tire. So I need what ever advice you guys can give me. How much air should I run in the tires How low should I go. What is a good burn out for them. Should I just give it a quick spin to clean them off. Should I leave at ideal of at a certen rpm.

Truck is basicaly stock.
Boost bypase and K&n panel filter are the only things done to the truck.

Hey ever one say just to turn them over and get the dust off them... Then BTJ told me to heat them are they are slick, so I did and did a 1.823 ft.. On f1's with about 22 lbs of air... Leave at about 1000 rpms and as soon as the truck moves about 10' nail it... Good Luck, lots depends on the track, Prep, temp etc... Have fun man...............................

I agree completly. Get them nice and hot. Launch @ 1,000rpms and as soon as the truck rolls about 3-5ft nail it.

well I am back form the track. Atco prep sucked we were able to pull chunks of rub off the strating line. So the track was just not good today but I still beat my old time of 13.5

My new best is a 13.35 @ 105. this was my last run of the day I swicth to a c&l meter and K&n cone filter. The 60 ft droped to a 2.0. SO I really do not think the meter did really anything. I was able to get it to hook a little better that last pass.

my other 2 runs got me a 14.2 @ 103 and 13.6 @ 103 and that was with the panel filter and stock box.
