Purchased a used "03" with low miles about a month ago and while driving at night found the electroluminescent display to be intermittent. My dealer aggreed it was defective and ordered a new one and that one arrived not lighting at all. The second one seem to have a problem with the speedometer where it would apear to stick and them jump up or down 5-10mph. And now another new one and the boost gauge seems to sit past the minimum vacuum at idle. I could live with this not to have the dash taken apart again.
Anyone else have similar problems ???

 

i have not had your problem but....

you can use the odometer to read the testmode...and check the guages in test mode.

turn the key on (engine off)
turn the key off
hold down the odometer reset button and hold for three seconds,
and while holding it down turn the key back on.

use the same button to scroll threw the menu. "guages" will test all the guages and lights too.
