Just wondering how much vacuum you guys are seeing at Idle. I think mine might be off a little, meaning I could have a vacuum leak.

I know that temperature and elevation play a role, but this should still give me a good indication.

I am in the midwest and I am seeing 15" of vacuum at idle.

What does that tell me?

 

I see about 16" at idle when warm in park and I am at 4100 ft altitude. When I drove to Dallas, I was seeing 21" at idle but they are near sea level.

 

21-22" at sea level.

 

I am at about 1500'. Does anyone think I could possibly have a vacuum leak or should I not be concerned?

HI!... I'm seeing 25-26 in/vac at idle. I'm about 600FT above sea level.

I'm seeing 13-14lbs vacuum at roughly 300 ft above sea level with a JDM built motor w/ cams.

 

16-18 when warmed up @600'


21-22 I only get that if I let off the gas at about 55mph and coast down a big hill.

 

i pull 20 inches and i am at sea level

 

10 - 11 inches, cams at sea level

 

17 inches at idle @ 600ft 16 with the a/c on
