Thumbs up Power Pipe

Jim just installed the new power pipe and 108MM mass air on my truck recently and it along with his SCT tuner hustled my 2000 L down the track in 10.75 seconds @ 127 MPH, all throttle-no bottle. This was at Atco on Dec. 4th for my season finale. Thanks Jim, the new setup kicks a$$.

Guys I wish we could offer rotor packs for the Magnum but we don't have any for use in stock. If you are really interested in them give me a call!

Any "special" price on just the blower? I'm at my limits with the ole "Heaton" and I have no need for a SCT chip. I have a Predator. Let me know.

Well we are really coming down $200 on the blower and throwing in the chip. Even if you do decide to stay with the predator and have the truck tuned with that, the SCT chip would be good to run on until then. Give us a call and we can discuss more about it...732-780-0770

How does that pipe allow flex like the stock piece does?

I can't understand why vendors don't use a hump hose with there one-piece intake pipes. It's the only simple way to get some movement back.

I'm using this hump hose when I finally install my polished intake pipe.

Tampa,

The support bracket attaches to the engine block and is secured at the filter end of the pipe, directly under (180 degrees around the pipe) the MAF sensor. It flexes in-tune with the engine vibration so to speak.

OK, they solved one problem by using a support bracket to mount the pipe to the engine. NOW, tell me how this prevents the filter from rubbing when the motor rocks? Then tell me how over time things won't start cracking from a system with NO movement.

Look at the 2nd image in this post and tell me how much room you see from the tip of the filter and the fender wall? I see very little and a problem down the road.

Now, if you used a 9" filter clearance would be alright.

The angle on the picture is a little misleading. I can take a picture to show the exact clearance when I get in the shop tommorow morning. There is enough clearance there for the filter not to hit.

The bracket that supports the tube is on the end of the tube. The end of the tube itself is made out of CNC Billet Aluminum. Pretty much to crack this tube you are going to have to run over it with your truck.

If you would like to talk more about this product call us at 732-780-0770. Otherwise I would like to keep this on thread on track with Christmas specials!!:santa:
