I was about to post a thread like this one but in sake of avoiding double posting, i'm just gonna follow this one... But I have 2 questions to ask, What exactly does it consist of (partswise and fabrication)? and so the 60 seat is actually cut and trimmed or can you get another driver's seat and hook up the power seat feature to it?

I've done the search feature and spent over an hour reading prev posts and threads and I see plenty of pics and comments but not really any how-to's as per se......

need 3 new parts from ford to convert seat that total about $180
need a console of course
need to modify the stock 60 portion of the bench with said parts

you cant use another driver seat. if you look at the shape of your seat it is not symmetrical, plus your controls would be on the wrong side. Also, there is not a plug for power seats over there anyway.

The reason there are not that many how to's is that once you get in there it is pretty self explanitory.

Here's what's going in mine once it's finished. I have a couple of more tricks for it. I'm also redoing some of my interior. The carpet and headliner will be done in black, and I'm thinking about after market seats.

Has become this:

I know that billet plate will most likely not be visable once installed, but it's in the details. More to follow in a few days or so.

How did you go about the black headliner? I have wanted to do this, but never have really looked into it. Did you get a new one or just cover the stock one?

are there any installed pics of the narrow consoles?

I would think they would look kind of odd since there are no armrests on the seats.

Joe, how does yours look/feel now that it's in?

I went with the wide console and am wondering why others aren't.

Here is my center console.

I thought about painting it to better match the interior but I figure I try it like it is to see how it looks. I think it matches very well.
