Spin Tech Mufflers.

Is anyone using SpinTech mufflers on their L? If so, how is the sound and do you like them?

Now let me get this straight....

They sound quite a bit like Flowmasters, work on a theory of baffles that swirl the exhaust, rather than direct it into walls (chambers), and most don't like the sound of Flowmasters on these trucks, but the Spintechs are better?

Thanks guys for the sound clip and input, I like the sound, better than my Borlas. The reason I got interested in the Spin Techs is because I heard it on a guy's mustang GT and sounded really awesome and different and he told me they made a Lightning model which I am thinking about, also they're fairly cheap compared to the others. Thanks again.

Bert.

My exhaust is stock except for the spintech cat back. It has a X-pipe and does very very much sound like a flowmaster. (which I personally like)

I even have some vids I can put up or e-mail to anyone interested. (Just e-mail me)

A few things I'll note about it..

It is louder than stock but is about the quietest mail order cat-back I've heard on a gen 2.

The noise is sweetest at about 1500-2500 rpms. but...once the rpms get past 3500 it kinda just keeps the same tone.

I bought it direct from www.spintechmufflers.com and was supprised the price was actually cheaper than was listed on thier web page.

On the dyno at REM they confirmed that it's not hurting power at all.
