finally made it to the track on 20's
finally made it to the track on 20's
Well, to make a long story short, i got 1 pass, the track was wet.
there was a 20 min rain delay(it was a light sprinkle) while i was stuck at the tree. then of course they announced "ok were gonna let a few street cars go, BE CAREFUL" well they dried the 60 ft area, but not the rest of the track. the track turns from concrete to asphault somewhere near half way. so............i launch it very easy and pull a 1.93 60 ft. im thinking to myself at the time OMG it didn't spin, then as i laid it down, it pulled real good, till i hit the asphault area, it felt like it was spinning at the top of second, but when i hit 3rd it went sideways, i had to let out of it, then got back on it again and crusied through at a 8.4. i was pleased because my 330ft was good enough for a 8.1. not to bad for 20's on a wet track i guess. i'm probably gonna try again within the next couple of weeks ( on a rain free night) my 99 with basically the EXACT same set up pulled a 7.9, but that was on 18" nitto drs.
