Help with my first pulley

I have an 03. The only mods so far are JL intake and boost bypass. So people say 4# crank pulley and some say 6#. Any suggestions?? I even saw a 8# and 10# i believe. Thanks.

6# is max i would run on stock block, but make sure you have a good tune to run it. 4# would be safer, but never go above 6#.

I started with 3# and now I'm using a 6#.

Rdy2rac used a 8# lower and ran fine.

It's all in the tune... (you'll hear that alot)

Now that porting the eaton has become popular, it seems that most are sticking with the 4# lower and porting and have had real good results.

my 2 cents
I'd start with a 4# if I were you.

now you have to consider caged or non caged.

people have STRONG opinions about both.
Uncaged is by far more popular

Caged is like the stock pulley, uncaged is just the pulley.

Stear clear from RPM outlet.com the prices are real cheap, unfortunately their service and products SUCK!

I had a JLP one piece 3# lower, now I have a LFPt, two piece 6# lower.

JLP, PSP, LFP, JDM, REM etc... solid choices.

I run a 2.8 upper (supposed to be good for 1lb.) and 4lb lower with a ported blower and no long tubes. In cooler months I hit 16lbs of boost and about 14 1/2lbs in the heat. I don't race much or stomp on it much either. But when I have, I've had no issues. And like everyone else said..it's all in the tune. I had my truck dyno tuned by JDM. I have a JDM interchangeable lower and the upper is from JLP.

Good luck.
