First time down the 1/4 in my '04

I'm not too disappointed. I couldn't hook up, but oh well.

12.81 @ 109mph

w/ a 2.08 60'

Engine mods are 4# lower, REM CAI, FTVB, LFP heat exchanger, SCT 9100 street tune (93 octane).

The Roush suspension might be hurting me a bit. That's ok. It's a sacrifice I'll willingly make.

Thanks. I know I am losing a lot of ET with the poor 60's. Was hoping for some high-1.8s. That should put me in the 12.5-12.6 range, I believe.

Honestly I was shocked it ran that fast. I had two identical 109.00 traps, and the other 3 were 108.7-108.8x.

We had a good air day here in N. Texas today, but there was no tailwind at all. I do not know the exact Density Altitude, but I need to find out. There was a guy in our group today that had his meter there. I just forgot to ask him. I'd imagine ~300' above sea level.

What tire do you run at the track, and how do you launch? what the RWHP? Yes get the to a 1.80 1.79 and you be 12.7-6

20"svt >>>thanks, and it's not over till the fat lady sings, I'm going to get it before new years

i would think that 109 would be good enough for a 12.4.

Nail that 60ft and a 12.4-12.5 will in order.
I ran a 12.65 @ 109.17 w/ a 1.88 60ft. I run consistant 12.7s @ 107-108 with mid 1.8 60s. Dynoed 404/508 with 4#, Filter and dyno tuned. I run full weight 1/2 tank+ of gas and my 255# A$$.

Check my sig for power... its pretty comparable to what you guys are running and trapping the same. 393/482 SAE corrected.

I just didn't get the launch down.

I was running Nitto DRs. They were brand new. I tried several launch techniques. Off idle and then flash the converter, stab throttle to the floor... that seemed the worst as far as wheelspin and axle hop. I'm sure it was just shocking the tires too hard.

I tried torque braking it up to ~1000-1100rpm and easing into it... that seemed better, I just couldn't quite get the perfect throttle angle/time to WOT down right.

Drag radials were run at 20psi.

FWIW, I got better 60's out of my '99 with 365rwhp/455rwtq on F1s... I didn't race the truck much, but I would get 1.9x all the time with it.
