Thumbs up Well it's Official, L's at PSP

I took the Nitrous System out, along with the Stainless Steel Air Inlet Piping, (to give Sal room to work),

dropped it off, and felt really weird going home without it : o (
(L's NEVER been out of my hands)
BUT IT'S IN GREAT HANDS NOW

So Rob?

What is the built motor going to set you back?

Im curious, I am weighing my options as to what to do with my truck next.

Bob

Bob,
I think people would be VERY SURPRISED to find out
it really isn't a lot of money if you do it smart. To me
smart means re-build YOUR MOTOR, "before it blows",
and don't go over board.

Basically you got a couple of Grand in Labor, by the time
your done. (removal of the Motor, break it down, put it back together,
re-installed, started, etc....

Basically you got a couple of Grand for the Motor Kit,
Pistons, Rings, Rods, Bearings, ARP Studs, Oil Pump, etc....

And in my case a Grand or so in Machine Shop Work.
Since we're rebuilding my motor, all clearances need to
be checked, (re-bored, re-ground, re-hardened "if needed")
Full Balancing, Blue Printing, and installation of rotating assy.
Heads Cleaned up, (and touched up if needed)
Spark Plug Inserts installed in the Heads (no more spitting
plugs) And of course all the other critical measurements,
gauging, and prep work needed for rebuilding and re-assy
of a new motor.

Then Fluids, Hoses, Belts, Head Gaskets, other needed
Gaskets, Chip and or Dyno Tuning, and some other
un-seen things you always run into

Bottom line, Sal can build you an Awesome Built Motor,
soup to nuts for 4-1/2 - 5k on the low side "without
machine shop work" and @ 6 K on the higher side,
(DEPENDS ON NEEDED MACHINE SHOP WORK, AND PARTS USED).
We're going with rods that can handle 1 millllllllllllllllllllllion HP,
so I'm on the higher side, : o )

Sal is working with me, giving me what I feel is an
"Awesome Deal" and I'm extremly confident in his ability and workmanship.
I now consider Him (as well as Denny) as
Partners and Sponsors, AND I WILL WEAR THEIR COLORS
WITH PRIDE .

I got a million thoughts going through my mind right now,
I was on the phone with Wicked last night and looked outside NOT TO SEE my L,
and totally freaked out, THIS WAITING IS GOING TO BE HARD )@*$%)@$%)@$%)@$
SAL IS IT DONE YET hehehehehe

I know it'll be a good couple of months before I get it back,
(we're shooting for Feb) so I guess for once I can say,
"GO AHEAD MOTHER NATURE THROW IT ALL AT US THIS
WINTER, SEE IF I CARE"

Vinnie (and other Rich People) AND OUR AWESOME
VENDORS, I know your reading this and wondering what
you can get me for Christmas, so here's a list of things
I'm not doing because I cant afford to, BUT WANT TO

Torque Convertor, Headers, Pipes, Cat Back, 6 or 8 lb Pulley,
CL Upper, Aftermarket Supercharger (I'll settle for any of
them, KB, Works, Whipple, MP, whatever ?) Ah what the
hell a Monster Tranny and some nice cams would be nice
too : o )

Hey I know, EVERYONE can chip in and buy me SOMETHING ???

Where's all those Brothers I sent money to when I need them,
hehehehehehehehe...............................

Do you wan't to kick me OR SHALL I DO IT MYSELF

Tom offered me his BRAND NEW NEVER USED (he sold the L)
Factory Tech "Total Domination Converter"
last week at a UNBELIEVALBLE price, and I sat on it
too long, he sold it and it's at Sals shop now being
installed in another L )@$%)@#$#)@$#)$)@$%)@
($%)@$%()@$%(@$%

For the more serious modified trucks, we offer the
Factory Tech Forged Billet Total Domination Converter.
This is a full on race torque converter, stalls at 2400
- 2600 RPM's and offers a forged cover plate, anti
balloon plates, furnace brazed construction, double
Torrington bearings and comes with a 12" cover plate
with an 11 1/4" impeller and turbine. The Total
Domination Converter is just that, and can handle
almost all the power and torque you can throw at it.
These units are built to order and always take two
days to build.

There is no way I can afford it at the reg price,
I screwed up BIG TIME but not taken Tom's
_@$)@$%)@$%)@$%@)$%)@$

We're prob going to send mine out to be opened
and modified ???

l-menace, thats not the Turbo I had, I had to dump
it and split the $ with a few peeps at work who were
busting my horns about it.

Rich,
No Cage "YET" maybe next season

it is going to totally suck driving 500 mi's round trip
to get kicked out after 1 pass, but I guess I'll have to
deal with it for a season
)@^$()@$%(@$%(@$%)@($%@$

I guess in early spring for a few shake down runs, I can
run to NJ, grab V and try and hit Atco, + Eng Town
(and or the other one ?) in the same day, at least thats
only 300 miles round trip.

Although the 10 sec barrier will now become a very
chase-able dream for me, I truly DO NOT see hitting it
without investing a lot more into it first. This will be the
first step in that dream, and I am simply hoping for
@ 450 off Spray, and @ 600-650 on it, hopefully
11.2's - 11.4's will be consistant, with better a possibility
on a good day. Remember I sill have stock EVERYTHING,
Exhaust, Suspension, Transmission, Cooling System,
the Heaton, no weight reduction, etc.

But with enough of Nitrous, "ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE" ; o )
and I don't expect ANY delivery probs with the Wizard

Rob,
Exhaust would be a nice upgrade at this point since the motor is out. How much for the headers?

All the other mods are nice but we can make due since you have a progressive unit for power delivery. The exhaust worries me as you have a lot more exhaust to get rid of to make the power you want. Can you get some more facts from Sal about the flow of the factory exhaust and our concern level?

We'll see what kind of solution we can come up with.

all I can say is...

IT"S ABOUT TIME!
There are a few people pushing the limits of the stock block and with the nitrous, Rob, you were one of them.

When I first read you were bilding the engine I had a sigh of relief.

Not that I'm doubting racetested or your tuner, but you had serious power coming from that stock block.

Now go get a 10's slip!
