anyone running 15" wheels with street tires

I have 20" silver replicas, but would like to have an alternative look for the truck. I ve done some research and and having a hard time trying to find what im looking for. I want 28x10x15 or 16 in a street tire or in that general area. Thanks

Brake clearance will be the big issue.

yes i am aware of this, but thanks for pointing it out. I really like the way the bogarts with hoosiers look but i dont want to drive around with cheater slicks.

fastford I dont have any pics, but i'll ry to get the digi cam from my brother and post some up.

20 svt Could you give me some info on what your running, Size, drivability, etc...

iculokn yes i have seen pics of them but that is like a 30 inch wheel i believe. I like it alot but its just a little too tall for my taste.

Were on the right track, i just need some help on sizes, where to get them, how it handles etc... pics are always good too. Thanks guys

you can see the pic in my sig...those are my slicks, but thats what they look like on the truck.... the slicks are 28X10.5X16.

the MT E/T streets are 27X10.5X16. dont get caught in the rain. i keep my rear 20's in the bed in case of the uncalled rain. i got caught once and was pulled over on the side of the road changing my tires in a down pour, it sucked. oh, change lanes slowly too.. you cant weave through traffic with those on.. its scary.

just go there and click on et streets to see sizes

thats funny. I had hoosiers cheater slicks on my mustang and i know what you mean about changing lanes . You have the exact size that i want. I have seen alot of pics on here of the size your running, but didnt know what the size was. I appreciate you taking the time to help me. Your truck looks good. I like the look of 20's, but also like the look that vinnie and superford and the few others on here that run the bogarts at the track. I have teh 20's so i know if i get tired of the way it handles i can change back. I really would like to find a cheater slick setup that would be tolerable as a daily setup. Thats a good idea on keeping the change out wheels in the back just in case of rain.

the MT Drag radial in 325/50/15 looks perfect. Its 28x11x15, that would be great. I wonder if those handle descent and how they are in the rain? I think those are steel belted, if so they would not sway around like the et streets would.
