Cervinis Cowl Hood
I just picked my truck with a new cowl hood and the body shop was not sure where to mount the light.
Where did everyone mount their engine compartment light?

I just wire tied mine up near the firewall somewhere. Lightning's never break down, so you won't need a light. 
I'd recommend just finding a place to hide it. I didn't want to drill another hole in my hood.
