There's going to be a BF Goodrich Midnight Madness at the Moroso Speedway in West Palm FL. this Saturday 4th at 4:30. A bunch of L's from Tower Shops are planning to go, all are welcome, $15 to run and $10 to watch, we need the S.FLA L community to show up.

 

How far is that from tampa?

 

We will be there with Pauls Orange '04 Cobra and either the race truck or my blue '03 L. A lot of guys from the dealerships are going too. Should be a big turn out.

 

How many are planning on going from Towershoppes??

If you live that close you should go straight there, we're coming up from Miami, not sure if we're meeting or everyone just show up. I'll probably be going early and try to beat the crowd to get a few runs in.

 

Yeah, the track is so crappy that the top alky guys were running 5's last weekend at 270+ mph. (Citrus Nationals)

 

Wow! That's surprising. There was a wrath of crashes there in 2003, probably because they were too cheap to spray enough VHT. There was also a dip in the left lane around the eighth mile, which I don't know if they filled in.

But in general, Moroso has a reputation of being a junk facility for the racers. If they would put a little effort ($$$) in it, I believe it could be much better. Just my opinion.
