Spark Plug Failure

Blue Oval News, makes you wonder why the Ford person did not say anything about the new revised heads that came out with more threads!

I'm tellin ya guys.. The real problem is 2 fold. 1) The plugs are not properly torqued from the factory. and 2) 4 Threads are simply not enough for a mass produced vehicle. It is adequate... but not on a high volume mfg scale.

The cheapest solution is to simply check your plugs.

Is this the first local or national news coverage (print or televised) of this problem?

This is what's needed if we ever expect Ford to own up.

Ford WILL NEVER admit to it.

They've known about it SINCE DAY ONE and did nothing about it year after year after year after year after year

And they claim they just "NOW" found out about it
Bull ****** schitt

They may make the best got dam Performance Vehicle in the World (THE LIGHTNING) but as far as I'm concerned, THEY SUCK
and should be in Jail for what they did to us

FU FORD
GIVE ME HEAD FORD
hey remember when I had that in my Sig a couple of yrs back

Small example of what I'm talking about

Quoted by a Ford Employee, that wants to keep his job

"Well I work for Ford warranty and I can tell you it is a problem. Vehicles under base warranty with SP blowing out of head for the month of Dec. 02 "437", Jan. 03 "282" at one point last June we hit 900 claims for the month.
After 36,000 miles the numbers drop but are still a problem. The lightning has been the vehicle I see most often but regular F-150's have had it happen too, Expedition as well."
End Quote

BTW
While my motor is being Balanced, Blue Printed, Rebuilt, etc,
I'm having inserts put into my Heads

It's the first time I've seen it in the news. Everyone who owns a 5.4l Ford should send the author of this news report an email asking her to fully investigate this issue and give it the national coverage it deserves. I already sent mine. Ford knows they should do a recall, but it would be too costly for them. Let's force them to recall it. Send those emails everyone. They should never have allowed these vehicles to roll off the assembly with this problem. They've know about it for years but chose to ignore it!
