i have a 2004 L, with 2" rear shackles! I removed the middel of 5 leaf springs, put it together and noticed nothing, what gives?

did i remove the wrong spring? i need to go about 2 more inched lower

 

most people say its the next to bottom leaf or the 2 leaf from the ground.

 

well i did it, i removed the middle leaf of 5 on my 2004, it wasnt low enuff, so then i removed the 2nd leaf (from the bottom) so now i only have 3 leaf springs. It looks amazing now! Rides ok, want to stiffen it up a bit with lowered shocks! Hopefully that will work

 

How well does removing the leaf work with 6o footin on the strip?Does it hurt you?I've been wanting to drop mine for some time now and a free mod always sounds great to me.I did a search but came up empty handed. Can u post some pics of before and after SVT2004

If anything i would thing it would help. I have a set of hotchis springs laying around to install on the front and im gonna remove a leaf to lower the back to keep it level.

 

Was wondering how things are now going with 2 removed leafs. Think 2" shackles and 2 removed leafs is ok?
