Stupid question, but am curious

Hey guys,

If you have your computer reprogrammed with a handheld like the Predator or superchips, then you disconnect the battery, do you need to reprogram everytime? Or is it burned into the memory? Thanks

the predator works like so... you upload your stock settings from the truck to the predator then you download the tune from the predator that you are using to the truck. disconnecteing the battery isnt going to reset anything to where you have to retune it every time. once you upload the stock settings to the predator thats where they stay, theres no spot in the computer that saves this like you may be thinking. as far as superchips i have no idea. i only run with predator.

if i am wrong at all can someone correct me please.

20"svt is right. Once you download a custom program it stays for good. Disconnecting the battery will have no affect whatsoever
