Protecting MY freedom? When's the last time i did something for MY country? I have been enlisted in the USAF for the past five years and am typing this from a deployed location! This is where i'll be spending the holidays, just like that guy

All i stated is that we're supposed to keep things hush about where we go and the dates we leave/return. He should know better, that's all. But good luck to him and may we both come home safe

When I was in, I had a secret clearance and if my command had found out I gave that information, I doubt I would have kept the clearance. Especially in times like these!

Good luck over there! Best Wishes!

It's all good. I have been in the Navy for seven years. I have been on 5 deployements and have spent a year in the desert. I'm going back for another six months.

The Yak has a good point. There was really no need to say good bye either. You will have access to the internet from the ship you'll be on.

Just the same........good luck and be safe. Don't fall overboard.

Yea, as everyone knows, Al Qaeda monitors the Lightning community looking for top military secrets.

I see from your profile that you earn your living as a veterinarian, which is admirable. Your opinions are appreciated, they really are. But why don't you go fix a squirrel or bunny rabbit and leave matters of the military to us

Thanks to everyone else for their support, you guys rock

Nice dude.. Don't you know it's against COMPUSEC to be communicating on a discussion board from a DEPLOYED LOCATION... LET ALONE A GOVERNMENT COMPUTER/CONNECTION. Way to go.. I suggest you pay attention to the SATE training next time around.

Happy holidays. Sux to be you.
