Blown a plug out of your head?

Here's a news report on it....

KARE 11 News

You've gotta love the quote in that news article...

"Ford constantly monitors the performance of our vehicles in the field and when an issue is identified we will take swift action in the interest of customer safety and satisfaction."

- Kristin Kinley
Ford Spokeswoman

What is she smoking???

Most of the complaints involve the hot-selling F-150 pickups. There are no recalls involved and Ford claims it's not aware of any problems

Many ford customers claim that the spark plugs Ford puts in at assembly don't have the thread depth needed to withstand much more than 60,000 miles and Ford doesn't recommend a tune up, a job that would replace the spark plugs, until 100,000 miles.

It's times like this, I'm ashamed to own a Ford

I wish or wonder if this person is still here listening ???
Remember a couple of yrs ago when I was talking schitt about Ford and one of them contacted me with this e-mail.

"Well I work for Ford warranty and I can tell you it is a problem. Vehicles under base warranty with SP blowing out of head for the month of Dec. 02 437 Jan. 03 282 at one point last june we hit 900 cliams for the month.
After 36,000 miles the numbers drop but are still a problem. The lightning has been the vehicle I see most often but regular F-150's have had it happen too. Expedition as well."
