Was that you with the Red L with I *think* Stainless Grilles?

I was there with my Syclone, until I got tossed for my 2nd run (My new best in my sig!!).

The headwind sucked though. Without that I bet we both would've picked up another tenth or two!

I'm glad the dude in the old 'Vette was OK when he wrecked.

Here's a pic of me launching on Saturday:

Ya mean that Blue ZO6? A few guys there were telling me that it had a built 383 in it, Normally Aspirated - NO Blower, NO Turbo, NO Juice!!! Also had an Auto Trans because he blew two 6 speeds already! They also said his best was 9.30's! Street driven too - Friggin Insane! That Black Convert Vette with Nitrous also ran inthe 9's I believe?

I don't remember seeing too many rollcages in the Vette's and Viper's either??? Funny how they can look the other way for them, but toss me off the track for a high 10...

Saturday my 60's were 1.69 and 1.67. Not bad, but last year I pulled a 1.600.

Give me that 60', loose the headwind, and a couple more psi and I'd like to see 10.5!

I'm just wondering, how much does it help your e.t.'s when you remove a headlight and the foglights like you did? Do you remove heavier items like the tailgate and passenger seat if that applies to you (if you have buckets instead of the 60/40)? Just wandering.

i always take out my 60/40 passenger seat, its cake. the tailgate and hard tonoue cover come off too... im sure the weight left on the truck doesnt help it at all. as far as takingout the drivers headlight, it opens a direct path for air to the filter, thats if you have an open filter and no air box... as long as you relocate your overflow tank or replace it with something smaller.

Too bad you didn't go to Cecil with the rest of us. We would have killed or died to see that.

I hope you bought the photo. It's great!
