This is getting embarrassing ... Ole #7 pops up everywhere!!!

That pic was just before I almost hit the GT on an off course
excursion ... You shoulda seen Ed's face when the Big Red
Brick was sliding through the grass straight at his door !!!

I couldn't imagine him going back to Detroit saying some guy
in a big red Lightning totalled the GT, so I recovered and
drove around him ... (Much to Dell's relief!!!)

I love the way I'm leaning less than the GT !!! WOOT !!!

I am having SOOOOO much fun On Track !!! Y'all otta try it !!!

I would love to run a track like that. I may have to sometime, now that I have a new daily driver I wont have to worry so much about the brakes and rotors.

Cliff, that's totally kick ***. Congrats!

I guess being a 1 percenter (road racer) is paying off .

Thanks Sal ...

Yeah I became an instructor for the SVTOA for next year. That
is gonna be something else. Imagine getting in a car that you know
nothing about, with someone that you know nothing about,
buckling in and proceedin to go round and round at 120 mph.

I always respected the bravery of my instructors, now I hope
I can emulate them. I did instruct one fella this year for the SCMC
guys and I had to ask the other instructors what to tell him to
do with the "shifting" thing. That was a hoot !!!

The amazing thing to me is your Road Race tune seems to be
just about perfect. Enough power to pass the Porsche's, and a nice
safe environment for my block !!!

Now I need to work on this uncontrollable urge that I have
to go 1320 feet as fast as I can !!! I don't think I can continue to
do both, since compromises usually do.

Thanks, Bud !!!

I ran into a friend a few years after we stopped drag racing together (I took a break from it). Anyway he got into roadracing instead and said it is way more fun than the 1/4 mile. I can believe it and would like to get involved one day. Must be fun being out there with some exotic and high end cars?
