4lb lower, Apten on stock internals???

Hey folks just wondering what you guys think about a Apten or the like...ported blower with a 4lb on a stock bottom ended 01 L. Also has anyone tried the plunum spacer with a ported blower? Any gains...or losses for that matter. Since i guess im keeping this thing...need to start planning winter mods. Thanks folks any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again, Vince

No problem, just double check air/fuel to be safe

I ran last year with a 6lb lower and a 1lb upper on a stock long block. Ported Apten and the spacer. Never had a problem, but as you know, it must be tuned for it. Also a little common sense while driving goes a long way.

I have since moved on with a different blower and a 8lb lower..............Hello rods

I am running exactly what you describe. See my web page for all my mods.

I'm running a #4 lower and #1 upper. My port job and spacer are from Outrageous. No problems so far other than a slower E.T. after the port job. But that's traction related. But as stated, get it tuned.

Gator...you're an animal!!!

Red...i have kinda decided to keep the truck for now...at least till mid summer. I know its crazy to spend money on all the mods but oh well. I actually thought i took it out of my sig that is was for sale...i wasnt getting much action on it and i was selling it to order a 2005 Stang GT...but it hink i will wait to see what next year brings in the way of special models for the new stang. I guess what im planing is The Apten blower, C&L Poted upper plenum with the current spacer and maybe.....maybe doing high flow midpipes with cats. Of course a dyno tune with a couple street/race programs will get done asap after the mods are done. Also might toss a billet flow TB in there for good measure. Thanks for all the help guys.
