JLP short block, Patriot heads, JLP stage 3 cams, Ported blower, LFP long tubes w/cats, single magnaflow muffler, PI converter, Art Carr valvebody, extrude hone upper, Billettflow t/b, JLP ramair. About 16 lbs (good air) of boost w/8lb lower and 2.8 upper. Only weight off the L was the front swaybar and hitch, spare and luggage were still in the back! Traction was handled by Hoosier 30x10.5 slicks and Caltrac bars. A big thanks to Johnny for an awesome tune!
PS: I think my tranny is about shot, atleast the clutches.

Question Josh

Is this record a personal best for you or a claim to be the fastest non spray, Eaton powered GenII????

Thanks,
Kevin

Congratulations on the record run. Very impressive for an Eaton blower.
Hey I sent you an email, get back to me if you can and I don't think 10's will be a problem. Thanks, -Mat-

I was told it should be good for the Gen II record, for now until BTJ goes back to the track.

Cool Just an FYI

Before I had a KB put on my truck, Jim@JDM was trying to get it into the 10's. The last time I saw it run with the Eaton, it was at Etown and Evan Smith was driving it. I outweigh him by 75lbs so he was driving and he went an 11.15 and an 11.10 one nite with good air. Jim did some testing a week or two later at a private session with people from MM&FF and if I remember correctly he said it went an 11.07 at 121mph. Maybe he will chime in and go into more detail.

So....I hope this doesn't burst anyone's bubble, but it looks like you guys have your work cut out for you.

Let me rephase, The quickest genII w/ported Eaton , no spray, full weight (4900 lbs), still with spare tire and luggage in the bed, driven from Ohio. (without Evan Smith driving, whats he weigh 120 wet!)
I feel if I lightin the L up and can get it to hook it will run low low 11's.

If I recall from when that news was posted way back when, that was with a Magnum Powers blower, wasn't it?

Red face OK then.........

My truck weighed over 4550 lbs with him in it. The only thing removed was the spare. It was caged at that point... and I drive mine all the time ....no trailer here. Run your low 11 and post it. Until then....you still have your work cut out for you.
Good luck.
